Five ways to log a meal
However you actually eat
The tedious part of every other tracker is the searching. Food Loops gives you five ways in, so logging a meal takes seconds whether it came with a barcode or came off a stranger's grill.
Photograph it
Point the camera at a plate or a nutrition label. The food is identified and the numbers filled in for you.
Scan the barcode
Real label data from Open Food Facts and Edamam — no AI involved, and free without limit.
Describe it out loud
"Half a hot dog with bun, an apple, and about ten potato chips." Say it the way you'd say it to a person.
Search your own foods
You build a library of the things you actually eat, instead of digging through a database of near-duplicates.
Type it in
For Grandma's meatloaf and anything else that has never had a label. Save it once and reuse it forever.
Private because of how it's built, not because we promise
There is no account to create, so there is no profile to breach. Your food logs, weights and settings live in a SQLite database on your phone. AI requests carry an anonymous identifier and nothing else, and meal photos are analyzed and then dropped.
No email address, name, or login — ever
Food logs never leave the device

Not a marketing claim. There is no server-side store of food logs to sell from.

Meet Cal
After a few days of logging, Cal can look at what you actually ate and answer the questions worth asking — where to find more fiber, how to cut sodium without hating your food, what to order off a menu you just photographed, or what to cook from a photo of your fridge.

Track a week. See what changes.
Most of what's useful shows up after a few days of consistent logging — which is exactly why logging has to be fast.
